Alyssa and I began updating this blog spot 4 weeks ago when Brian was born but never really explained what Brian's illness is. My dad found two great websites from U of M. The first website explains exactly what CDH is. The second explains ECMO, which is the machine that saved Brian's life. Brain was on ECMO for 22 days.

    Yes thanks so much the information is very helpful. There was a link I came across about 2 weeks ago from the San Francisco CDH clinic specializes as well. With this spectacular equipment - and God's healing grace! - Brian certainly continues to overcome the odds!
